Your past is a weapon, a deadly weapon.
If your past is similar to mine, you’ve made decisions you regret.
Choices you wish could be taken back and changed.
No do-over in life exists; we must live with the consequences of our decisions no matter how brutal they might be.
A man, a real man will yield his past to influence others for a brighter future.
Mastering any weapon takes practice and guidance. In order to leverage the past for a winning battle we must master it.
Battles are ugly, often so is a mans past. That doesn’t stop a real man from completing the difficult task at hand.
A man is not concerned with “saving face” when it could benefit another and help them avoid the same mistakes he has made.
God has called men, real men, to use their past as a weapon. Use it to strike the heart of the enemy.
A mans past is used to destroy the enemies battle plans. It will force the enemy to design a new plan.
A plan that God has already prepared for and is preparing the man for.
Step up. Be a man.
Use your past as a weapon.
Foil the enemies plans. Destroy the enemy.
Don’t hesitate. If you do, the enemy will strive to use your past against you. He will cause you to feel shame and desire to hide from your past.
The enemy will take hold of your past, your weapon, and use it against you.
Unless.
Unless, you yield your past and take him out first.
Will you allow the enemy to grab hold of that weapon and use it against you?
Or will you take of your past and use it to further the Kingdom of God?
