My daughter asks questions continuously. “Daddy what is this?” “Daddy why is it like that?”
I’ll admit, at times it drives me crazy.
However, often she asks profound questions, especially for a 5 year old.
“Why did Jesus die on the cross, Daddy?” “Hey dad, What is a soul?”
I struggle to find the answers she craves.
My daughter has a desire to learn. I pray she forever pursues that desire.
The old cliché “curiosity killed the cat” will hold us back from our fullest potential.
The cliche doesn’t take into account; a single notable accomplishment would never have happened if it had not been for curiosity.
Yes curiosity can be dangerous but that does not disqualify it from being a benefit.
Curiosity is God’s gift to us.
Let’s use it!
What have you been curious about lately?
How do you stay curious?
